MOSSLEY fire-fighters attended two incidents on the same stretch of road in Uppermill yesterday.
Crews turned out at 12.30pm after an elderly woman overturned the Ford Fiesta she was driving in Ladcastle Road.
The woman, who wasn’t injured, managed to scramble free of the car before fire-fighters arrived.
Fire-fighters said the woman had let a car pass her on a single-track road when she accidentally pressed the accelerator and drove over a grass bank.
