Roadworks lead to Royton tailbacks
Date published: 02 September 2010
RESURFACING work in Royton is causing increased queues and heavy traffic.
Work to resurface the road at the junction of Shaw Road, Blackshaw Lane and High Barn Road this week has seen a big increase in congestion.
High Barn Road shuts today (Thursday) and Blackshaw Lane tomorrow between 9.30am and 4pm, with diversions along Oldham Road, and Shaw Road, both days.
The weekday diversions end tomorrow, but work to complete the top layer of road will see the junction closed on Sunday, September 12 and 19.
