Mother and son on porn charges

A CHADDDERTON mother and her 31-year-old son have been accused of possessing pornographic images of young children.

Christine Entwistle (49), of Otley Close, and David Entwistle faced four counts of possessing indecent photographs in February this year.

Mr Entwistle, of Oswald Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, was further charged with breaching the terms of a sex offender order by accessing Facebook.

The couple offered no plea to the charges when they appeared before Manchester Magistrates’ Court and were remanded to reappear on October 28 for committal to Manchester Crown Court.

They were granted bail with a condition not to contact each other or to access, possess or use computers.
