Art lover’s display of thanks
Date published: 07 September 2010
AN art-lover will transform her bungalow into a bustling gallery this weekend to raise money for charity.
Judith Garside has had to clear out some of her furniture to make way for dazzling watercolours and pretty pastels, due to be displayed during an open day on Sunday.
The home-made exhibition is Judith’s way of saying thank-you to the British Lung Foundation for caring for her husband Norman.
Judith will throw open her doors, at 26 Sherwood Way, High Crompton, from noon to 4.30pm. More than 40 pieces of the Royton Art Group’s work will be on sale during the event. Admission is free.
