THE fifth annual So Way North event — planned by young people from the Royton, Shaw and Crompton Youth Forum — is set to be the best yet.
Boasting a full programme of music and activities, the free event takes place on Sunday at Royton Park, from 1–4pm.
It will feature live DJing by young people from Royton, Shaw and Crompton plus activities including face painting, a skate park competition, climbing wall and inflatables.
There will also be a range of information stalls from local organisations such as the police, fire service, NHS Oldham, local children’s centres and Oldham Youth Council, with the focus this year being on keeping safe.
