Schoolgirl improving

The 14-year-old schoolgirl critically injured when she was involved in an accident with a lorry in Broadway, Chadderton, 11 days ago, is showing signs of improving.
Jesmin Begum, of Main Road, Westwood, remains on a ventilator at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, but is ‘showing signs of recovery.’
