HAPPY ever after . . . Alex and Anna tie the knot in Gretna

Alex’s days as a rover are over — as he finds true love!

AFTER months of making his merry way around the world, our Alex has finally found a reason to settle down.

The globe-trotting meerkat has been snapped cavorting as far afield as Australia, The Dominican Republic, Afghanistan America and the Maldives. He’s been across the globe and back and seen sights most of us can only dream of.

Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, Bondi Beach — Alex has been there and done it.

As his epic journey comes to an end, the mischievous Dr Kershaw’s mascot has eloped to Gretna Green in Scotland with Anna, the meerkat of his dreams.

The pair posed for wedding snaps near one of the town’s famous anvils before making their way off into the sunset together.

Generous Oldhamers have been snapping up the £7.99 cuddly toys for the past few months to show their support for the Royton hospice.
