Chaos as airport terminal evacuated

Passengers faced massive disruption at Manchester Airport today after a suspicious package was found in Terminal 1.
Hundreds of passengers and staff were evacuated and police were called to the airport at 8.50am following reports of the suspicious bag.
A 500 metre cordon was established around the area.
Passengers travelling today were advised to contact their airlines.
