Big screen for Pope’s big event

CHADDERTON youngsters ditched their school uniform for the day to mark the Pope’s visit to the UK.
Pupils at Corpus Christi donned yellow and white clothes as they watched a screening of The Big Assembly.
The event, which was held at St Mary’s University College in Twickenham on Friday, saw Pope Benedict XVI address 3,000 school children in a celebration of Catholic education.
The youngsters also made donations to the Pakistani Flood Appeal.
