Girl’s rape hell: man quizzed

POLICE have arrested a man in connection with the rape of a 15-year-old girl in Chadderton.

The teen was subjected to a terrifying ordeal when she was dragged into an alleyway off Victoria Street while walking home at 9.40pm on Saturday.

The man, who had been following her, grabbed her by the throat and carried out the attack. The 30-year-old suspect has been arrested on suspicion of rape and remains in police custody for questioning.
