FLOWERS mark little Violet's home
FLORAL tributes from family and friends have been placed outside the former home of Waterhead tot Voilet Mullen to mark what would have been her second birthday.
Violet died in hospital in January after paramedics were called to her Huddersfield Road home when she stopped breathing.
Her mum, Claire Flanagan (22), and Claire’s partner Gary Alcock (28), who is not Violet’s father, are currently on trial for her murder.
Both deny the charge as well as an alternative count of causing or allowing the tot’s death.
The trial is expected to last for four weeks.
