CASH was stolen from a Shaw off-licence by three armed men after a worker was hit with a handgun.
Three raiders wearing balaclavas went into AK Off Licence, on Oldham Road, at around 8.30pm on Sunday.
The shop worker was cleaning a shelf when one of the offenders hit him over the head with what is believed to have been the butt of a handgun. The victim was then dragged to the till and the offenders stole cash. The 28-year-old victim suffered a cut to his head but was not seriously injured.
Det Con Mark Robinson, from Oldham CID, said: “Fortunately the victim was not seriously hurt but we believe he was hit with the butt of a gun and it is vital that we catch these men.
