The mechanic may be a bit rough around the edges but he always has the best interests of his long-suffering wife Sally and daughters Rosie and Sophie at heart.

He married Sally three years later and Rosie was born in 1990, Sophie in 1994.

The grease monkey had his first extramarital affair in 1997 with Natalie Horrocks, mum of his business partner Tony. The affair broke Sally’s heart and she filed for divorce.

In 2000, Kevin married factory girl Alison Wakefield but the relationship ended in tragedy when Alison jumped in front of a lorry after their son Jake died the day after his birth.

Kev and Sal were reunited and remarried in 2002, Since then there have been affairs, babies, elation and setbacks.

Besides starring in “Coronation Street”, Le Vell, who lives in Dobcross, has appeared on several TV gameshows.
