Junaid shooting: fifth man arrested

A FIFTH man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Junaid Khan.
Junaid (21), of Cotton Mill Crescent, Werneth, was shot in the car park of a doctor’s surgery in Block Lane, Chadderton, on July 9, 2009.
As he lay dying on the ground, his killer stood over him and shot him again. A 28-year-old man was arrested on Monday on suspicion of murder. Earlier that day four men aged between 22 and 28 and a 27-year-old women were arrested in Stockport and Oldham.
The woman has now been bailed until November 8, pending further inquiries.
The men remain in police custody on suspicion of murder.
