Tentastic . . . Hareton ‘Harry’ Bloom looks forward to celebrating the landmark birthday on Sunday
AN Oldham youngster, described as a miracle millennium baby, will be celebrating a once-in-a-lifetime birthday this weekend.
Hareton Bloom, of Ashton Road East, Failsworth, will make history on Sunday as he becomes one of the few children to celebrate their 10th birthday on 10/10/10.
His mum, Julie, said: “He’s a really special boy to us anyway, we thought we couldn’t have children so he was our little miracle when he came along. To have this on top of it all is brilliant, he finds it really bizarre the way it has landed this year.
“He says that he will have to do something memorable at 10.10am in the morning but he doesn’t know what yet — probably get out of bed!”
The golf-mad youngster, known as Harry to his schoolmates at Woodhouses Voluntary Primary, is planning to celebrate the momentous occasion with his family, topped off with lessons from a golf pro at his local club.
