Meishka - missing
A distraught animal lover is pleading for help after two of her three cats were snatched from her back yard.
When Leanne Hughes, of Medway Road, Hollins, put her three cats out, only one returned when she opened the door to let them in.
Four-month-old kitten Meishka and her dad, Kiko, a tabby with white feet, have not been seen since.
The animal lover is certain that her furry friends have been stolen.
An emotional Leanne said: “I am so angry and absolutely devastated.
“The cats have never strayed, they always come back without fail.
“I had closed the garden gate behind me when I came in from shopping, when I came out it was wide open.
“The minute I saw, I knew straight away somebody had taken them. I just desperately want them back.”
Leanne frantically looked for them up and down the street and has distributed “missing” posters across the borough.
She is now pleading for anyone who can help to get in touch.
She said: “Please just bring them back to the area, or drop them at the RSPCA centre in Oldham.”
Anyone with information should call 07968-047 707.
