We’re knot amused...

OWNERS of a wedding venue in Saddleworth have been left stumped after every one of their signs to promote a bridal fair were torn down.
Clough Manor in Denshaw spent more than £500 on 15 posters to promote a bridal open day today, but only two days after they were put up, the boards had disappeared.
Owner Alan Tupman said: “We spent five hours putting them up only for them to disappear.
“I can’t believe it, whoever has taken them down has put in a lot more effort than we did putting them up. It’s just petty.”
The notices were dotted across Delph, Uppermill, Denshaw, Greenfield and Austerlands.
Even a poster put up in a farmer’s field with permission was stolen.
Alan added: “We’re very annoyed. We must have been targeted because other advertising signs in similar spots are still in place.
“They would have had to go on a real hunt across Saddleworth.”
The wedding extravaganza starts at the venue on Rochdale Road, Denshaw at 6pm.
