Smash flips car over

A triple car crash brought road chaos to Royton last night.

A black Renault Clio ended up on its roof and collided with two other cars as all three drivers escaped with minor injuries.

The accident happened on Rochdale Road between Tandle Hill Road and the Summit area, at tea-time.

Police say the Clio was in collision with a Ford Focus pulling out of a parking space before there was another collision with a VW Polo, when the Clio flipped on its roof.

Rochdale Road was closed briefly at Dogford Road for the recovery of all three vehicles.
