New Deal is feeling groovy
Date published: 03 November 2010
A PARTY to celebrate the success of the Hathershaw and Fitton New Deal Deal for Communities scheme at the Honeywell Centre was a huge success.
Workers, volunteers and residents enjoyed a Sixties evening of music, including a quiz themed around The Beatles and Rolling Stones. More than 80 guests had a potato pie supper and enjoyed music from Oldham band Syxteez Experience.
Most of the staff have left for pastures new with only a few remaining to work with the Honeywell Trust to continue the good work of the last five-and-a-half years.
