£8,000 drugs haul at house

A 26-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after drugs worth £8,000 were found at a house in Chadderton.
Officers carried out a warrant at an address in Laburnum Avenue on Monday.
Class A drugs and a car were seized by police.
Det Insp Javid Pervaiz said: “This is a fantastic result that demonstrates the ongoing work we are doing in Oldham to target those intent on possessing and supplying illegal drugs within our community.
“We continually rely on information from within the community to assist us with this and anyone who wishes to let us know of any criminal activity can do it anonymously by phoning Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
The man has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
