It’s Alt down to you
Date published: 18 November 2010
Residents in Alt are being invited to go on a £100,000 spending spree to help improve their local community over the next three years.
Eight volunteers are needed to help the Fair Share Trust, which is managed by local charity, The Community Foundation for Greater Manchester.
They will sit on a steering group to ensure the £100,000 Fair Share funding is fairly allocated. Alt has been identified by the trust, which makes sure Big Lottery Funds are available to areas that have not as yet had their fair share. Over the past eight years £329,000 has been spent in the area.
Interested parties should contact Gary at The Community Foundation by email at gary@communityfoundation.co.uk. Alternatively, call him on 0161-214 0940.
