Death-drive charges

COLIN McDonald, who is charged with a number of driving offences in relation to the death of Wayne Leary, will appear at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court on December 14.

McDonald (37). of Denton, is charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death by driving while unlicensed and causing death by driving while uninsured.

Mr Leary (38) died after being hit by a Kia Picanto in Oldham Road, Failsworth, on April 4.
