Date published: 03 December 2010
FESTIVE cheer will ring through Uppermill when the annual parade and lights switch-on takes place tomorrow.
Santa will make a snow-filled stop-off in the village as the Arctic conditions make for a perfect winter wonderland setting.
A Christmas fair brimming with gift ideas will be on offer from 2.30pm in the square. Santa will delight youngsters at the museum car park from 4pm, followed by a carol service to melt hearts in the square from 4.45pm. Several lights switch-ons will see the village sparkle before a dazzling fireworks finale at 5.30pm.
