OLDHAM churches are celebrating a Bishop of Manchester hat-trick after he accepted three invitations to the borough in the same week.
Yesterday, he visited Holy Trinity Church, Coldhurst, and Saint Stephen and All Martyrs Church, Lowermoor.
Tomorrow, he will take tea with the congregation at Oldham Parish Church and he will then lead a procession to Spindles to link up with the congregations from Oldham Baptist Church and Union Street Church for a carol service.
An evening reception awaits him back at the church where he will meet civic dignitaries. On Sunday, the Bishop will be back in Oldham to help celebrate the 180th anniversary of Oldham Parish Church.
