Masked men armed with a knife terrified a newsagent during a robbery in Oldham.
Five thugs stormed into the Najib News shop on Spring Street and threatened him with a knife around 6pm on Tuesday, December 7.
They ordered him into the back of the store and stole the till containing a quantity of cash. All five robbers were wearing black tights over their heads.
Det-Con Kate Dawson, of Oldham CID, said: “This was a terrifying experience for the shop assistant, but fortunately he was not injured.
“I’m urging anyone who may have seen anyone hanging round the shop prior to the attack or even if they saw the gang of robbers flee, to contact us.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161-856 8951 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555 111.
