THE family of a woman who died following a collision in Chadderton have paid tribute to her.
Anna Horsfall (31) was involved in a collision with a Peugeot 307 at the junction of Spencer Street and Old Lane at 5.10pm last Thursday.
She was taken to hospital but died a short time later. The car stopped near by and the driver needed medical attention.
In a statement, Anna’s father David and sisters Michelle, Georgia, Georgina and Dianna said: “Anna had a heart of gold. She didn’t have a care in the world. She was the life of the party, very funny. She was the sort of person who would give her last penny. She loved children and animals and talked constantly about her two cats.
“She was very close to her family and will be missed dearly by them and her boyfriend Damien.”
Anyone with information about the collision is asked to call police on 0161-856 8473.
