Latics arson case put back
Date published: 20 December 2010
TWO teenagers charged with arson over the £100,000 blaze at Oldham Athletic’s Boundary Park ground have had their case adjourned at Oldham Youth Court until Thursday.
The 15 and 16-year-old boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were due to appear on Friday but the hearing was adjourned due to illness.
A pallet was set alight at Latics’ ground around 5.15pm on Sunday, August 22, with the fire spreading to the match-day hospitality suite and the disabled area of the ground.
