MODERN technology is making it easier for schoolchildren across Oldham to compete in sports.
It can be difficult for PE teachers to transport pupils around the borough for competitions.
But Oldham Schools Sports Partnership is testing youngsters over a range of activities in their own school and then posting the results on a new website called Virtual League.
That makes it simple for schools to compare their results and compete.
St Martin’s Primary School, Fitton Hill, was the latest to be put through its paces with youngsters tackling a range of demanding fitness drills.
