Driver badly injured in crash

A 22-YEAR-OLD man suffered serious head and chest injuries after his car careered off a motorway slip road and collided with a tree.
The man, who was unconscious at the scene, was cut out of the red Mazda by firefighters and rushed to hospital following the incident at 11.10am on Friday on the sliproad to the A627M at Slattocks. He is now in a stable condition.
