ROSE pours custard on barmaids Zara Wood and Beth Hughes.
BARMAIDS bathing in custard raised a sweet £1,500 at a fundraiser at the Grey Mare pub, Royton.
Landlady Rose Bond was in charge of whipping up 30 gallons of the yellow stuff while Zara Wood and Beth Hughes volunteered to hop in the tub first.
The event, which also featured an auction and balloon race, was in aid of Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
Organiser Rob Cottrill, who also got a custard soaking, said: “The event was a great success and big thanks go to everyone who took part, especially Jackie Dijon and Amy Henthorne , who also got in the bath.”
