RISING star Jodie Connor
SCOUTHEAD singer Jodie Connor is urging Oldhamers to boost her bid for a top 10 hit in the download music charts.
The former Saddleworth School pupil is currently at number 12 in the midweek chart with her first solo single “Now Or Never”.
Jodie is battling it out with huge global stars such as Britney Spears, in at number 4 with Hold it Against Me, Bruno Mars, JLS and Rihanna to make the top 10 on Sunday.
She hit the top of the charts last May when she provided vocals for Roll Deep’s hit Good Times.
Talented Jodie, who’s debut album is out in May, enjoyed her first taste of success in 2003 when she narrowly missed out on a place in the grand final of Pop Idol. Visit jodieconnormusic.com to find out more.
