Drugs probe
Date published: 28 January 2011
A MAN had cannabis with a street value of over £14,000 hidden in his car, it was alleged at Manchester Magistrates’ Court.
Anthony Bell (21), of Wingate Drive, Failsworth, was sent to the city’s crown court accused of possessing the drug with intent to supply.
It was claimed police seized the cannabis after stopping him in his car in Moston last May.
Mr Bell was granted unconditional bail and will appear on February 24 at Crown Square for a plea and case management hearing.
