EYE spied a prize . . . Brad sniffed out a pair of free glasses while walking on the Saddleworth hills
A LUCKY competition winner will be sporting a designer pair of specs thanks to his trusty best friend.
It all started when the 20-20 opticians in Uppermill celebrated its 8,000th customer by releasing balloons, marked with stickers for a pair of free Prada frames.
John Arthus, a university graduate from Nottingham, came across the token while walking in the Saddleworth hills with his beloved pooch, Brad, who sniffed out the prize from a deflated balloon.
Now John has plans to see the world with clearer vision during a dream trip to South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
Oldhamers have been urged to keep their eyes peeled as three tokens have still to be claimed.
