Murder-charge man remanded in custody

A 46-YEAR-OLD man charged with the murder of Chadderton father-of-three Anthony Dale has been kept in custody.
Dale Ross, of no settled address, appeared at Manchester Crown Court yesterday for a preliminary hearing. He was remanded in custody until a hearing on April 26 when he is expected to enter a plea.
Mr Dale’s body was discovered at a flat in Middleton Road on Friday morning. A post-mortem examination concluded that he died of a single stab wound to the chest.
