WORLD record holder . . . the late Gladys Morris
SUPER supple Heyside grandmother Gladys Morris went to her grave not knowing that she had been crowned the world’s oldest yoga teacher.
The 90-year-old, of Brownlow Avenue, was officially recognised by Guinness World Records but the news came through four days after she suffered a heart attack.
Gladys beat former record holder Bette Claman (83) who is still teaching regular classes in Victoria, Australia.
Before her death, Gladys led four classes a week at Shaw Community Centre.
