‘Pitbull’ wanted in rape probe

HUNT... “Pitbull”
POLICE are hunting a man who may be nicknamed “Pitbull” in connection with a rape.
The man, believed to be called either Francisco Lima or Luciano Semedo Dos Reis, is being sought over a rape that happened at a house on Park Road in Oldham, on November 3, 2007.
Detectives believed that Lima — who is thought to be from Angola with a Portuguese passport — fled the country after the rape, but information has now been received suggesting he may be in the Manchester area.
Lima is described as black, of a stocky build, about 5ft 7in tall, 25-years-old, with short black hair receding on both sides.
He has a 2in scar on one of his cheekbones and may answer to “Pitbull.”
Detective Constable Michelle Lomax said: “It has been more than three years since this woman was raped, and we will not rest until her attacker has been brought to justice.
“It is the least she deserves after what she has been through, and we will relentlessly pursue the culprit until he is behind bars.”
Police obtained a photo from Lima’s Facebook profile and have issued it so that if anyone recognises him or knows of his whereabouts that they come forward and speak to them in total confidence.
Anyone with information should call police on 0161-856 4950 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
