OLDHAM soap star Matt Healy comes home to the Coliseum next month when he stars in Satin ‘n’ Steel.
Matt became a TV star in 2004 as Emmerdale’s scheming Matthew King until his character’s untimely death in 2008.
He will join fellow former Emmerdale cast member Roxanne Pallett in Amanda Whittington’s play which tells the story of jaded veteran performer Vince Steel (Healy) who has been doing the northern club circuit for years.
He meets aspiring karaoke singer Teena (played by Roxanne) takes her on as his protégée to add some glamour to his act, and it works until a guilty secret threatens to shatter everything.
Satin ‘n’ Steel runs from April 14 to 7 May 7. Call the box office on 0161-624 2829 to book.
