POLICE seized around 300 cannabis plants with a street value of £150,000 when they swooped on a disused industrial unit in Littlemoor.
Officers raided the property when members of the Oldham East Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a drugs warrant. They discovered a large number of cannabis plants and cannabis-growing equipment.
PC Graham Battye, from the Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “The action we took came about as a direct result of information received from the public. I want to send out a big thank-you to residents for their continuing support. It is a substantial seizure that sends out the message that we will continue to target offenders whose criminal activity makes life a misery for our communities.
Anyone with information about drugs in their community should call 0161-872 5050 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
