We need a longer conga

NEARLY 300 Oldham College students and staff attempted to become Red Nose Day record breakers with the world’s longest conga.
They could have ended up with red faces as well after falling more than 700 short of the 1,050 needed.
But the £109 raised for Comic Relief, with the total expected to grow over the coming days, helped spare any blushes.
Organiser and early years tutor Wendy Lomas said: “Everybody had a really good time and we raised money.”
Monday’s Chronicle will feature a Red Nose Day special. If you would like your event featured, send a high-resolution jpeg image to pictures@oldham-chronicle.co.uk
Don’t forget to include names, what you did, how much was raised and who is on the picture.
