Intruders set house alight

A FIRE caused by intruders swept through a house in Chadderton on Saturday night.
Two crews from Chadderton tackled the blaze at the end-terrace house in Lime Street at around 10.45pm.
Firefighters had to smash down the door to the property, where nobody currently lives, to tackle the blaze that wrecked the ground floor and spread upstairs.
