She’s Mrs Who?

Chadderton actress Suranne Jones will be hitched up with Dr Who in the new BBC series this year.

The former Coronation Street actress is confirmed to be in episode four alongside Michael Sheen, best known for his portrayals of Tony Blair and David Frost.

The former Oldham Theatre Workshop student will play a character called Idris, from Dr Who’s past, rumoured to be his secret wife. Suranne has also filmed a new detective series, Scott and Bailey, to be shown on ITV later this year.
