FEARS are growing over the welfare of a missing Oldham teenager.

Police have appealed for the public’s help in finding Ciaron Nuttall (19), who was last seen on Cardigan Street, Royton, on March 5.

His phone and social network accounts have not been used since then, which is out of character, and he has not accessed his bank account.

His mother reported him missing on March 10 after he failed to return home for fresh clothes as she thought he was staying with friends.

Ciaron is described as white, 5ft 9in tall, of slim build with short brown hair.

Det Insp Dave Massey, of Oldham CID, said: “Ciaron’s family and friends and the police are extremely concerned for his welfare.

“Ciaron is a very popular and sociable person and it is totally out of character for him to go missing but also for him to not use his phone or Facebook account.

“We now believe he may have had some money worries that could be behind his disappearance and I want to urge anyone who has seen Ciaron, but in particular Ciaron himself to phone the police.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Oldham CID on 0161-856 8951, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555 111.
