A FAILSWORTH man has admitted his part in a plot to evade duty on nearly £4 million worth of cigarettes.
James Blackshaw (66), of Durham Crescent, pleaded guilty at Manchester Crown Court, Crown Square, yesterday, alongside Ronald Thomas (55), of Devonshire Street, Ardwick, and Graeme Davies (40), from Ormskirk.
The cigarettes had been smuggled from China in coffin-shaped pine boxes.
The three are due to be sentenced on May 17.
