THE mother of a missing Oldham teenager has said she is desperate to hear his voice in an emotional plea for information.

Ciaron Nutall (19) was last seen on Cardigan Street in Royton on Saturday March 5.

His phone and social network accounts have not been used since that time and he has not accessed his bank account.

His mum, Ann Marie Walls, said: “I am going out of my mind with worry and am desperate to hear Ciaron’s voice. No one should have to go through what our family is going through and I just want to know that he is safe and well.

“If anyone knows where he is or has seen him at any time since he went missing please let the police know.”

Ciaron, who has one brother, has links to Oldham and Rochdale and family in Wigan.

He is described as 5ft 9in tall, of slim build with short brown hair.

An extensive search is now underway for Ciaron with police detectives conducting house-to-house interviews and trawling through CCTV in the area to find a clue to his location. Reported sightings in Bacup proved not to be true.

Det-Insp Dave Massey, of Oldham CID, said: “We know Ciaron has some family worries but I want to assure him these matters can be resolved and if he is reading or hearing this appeal please pick up the phone and call your mother or the police.”

Anyone with information should contact Oldham CID on 0161-856 8951, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555 111.
