13 in court after raids

THIRTEEN people have been charged and have appeared in court following drug raids in Oldham.
The raids, just after 6am on Wednesday and involving more than 100 officers in the Coldhurst, Hathershaw and Westwood areas, resulted in 16 arrests made.
Among those making their first appearance at Oldham Magistrates’ Court yesterday were Ghulam Mustafa (28), charged with two counts of supplying heroin, and Anthony Gott (27), charged with nine counts of supplying crack cocaine, six counts of attempting to supply heroin and other drug charges.
A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with one count of supplying cocaine.
Of those arrested, one man has been bailed until May 19 pending further inquiries and two others have been released without charge.
An 18-year-old man arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after the original 16 has since been bailed to May 4 pending further inquiries.
