Tributes after M60 plunge

THE family of a man who fell to his death from a motorway bridge on Friday have paid tribute to him.
Darren Roy Clayton (46), of Blackley, was pronounced dead at the scene after falling on to the anti-clockwise carriageway at junction 20 Middleton of the M60 just before 6.30am.
His family said: “Darren was a lovely lad who was popular and well-loved by all family and friends.
“He was hard-working and the joker of the family.
“He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.”
Three lanes of the motorway were closed for six hours causing widespread disruption before they were reopened at 12.50pm.
