Crash shuts bypass

RUSH-HOUR traffic on the Oldham bypass came to standstill this morning following a six-vehicle collision.
Police were called just after 8am following the crash near Manchester Road slip road involving a tipper truck, a van and four cars. No one was seriously injured but the bypass was closed to traffic travelling from Oldham Mumps to the Westwood roundabout.
