Don’t stop moving for charity

CHARITY dancers worked up a sweat and pushed their endurance to the limit during a five-hour danceathon.
It took bounds of energy from a team of 30 dancers who took on a Zumba challenge to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
The salsa rhythms and Latin vibes of the latest dance craze proved enough of a boost for the team. Zumba teacher and Greenfield gym owner Lynn Furness said: “Most of the people did the whole five hours and the last few hours were without doubt the hardest.
“It was energetic and non-stop for the whole time — there was no time to rest. We’re already at over £500 raised and with the rest of the sponsors still to come in we’re expecting it to collect well over £1,000. It’s fantastic stuff.”
