GIVEN up . . . Tigi was found in the toilets at the Spindles Shopping Centre
TIGI the one-eyed cat gave a security guard paws for thought when he was discovered in the toilets at the Spindles Shopping Centre.
The confused moggy was abandoned by two women who were captured on CCTV taking him into the downstairs toilets in a cat box before leaving empty handed on Tuesday.
Security guard Adele Jarvis found five-year-old Tigi and took him to the Pennine Pen Animal Rescue Centre in Hathershaw where he is currently being cared for.
Staff at the rescue centre discovered that Tigi was micro-chipped and his last registered address is a property in Devon but the contact number on his file is no longer in use.
