More wedding hells for serial bigamist

A SERIAL bigamist who seduced a Fitton Hill man into a sham marriage has snared a sixth husband — and a new fiance.

Emily Horne (33) married Ashley Baker at Chadderton Town Hall in September, 2007, despite the fact that she already had four other spouses. She confessed all on their wedding night.

The former glamour model was spared jail when Judge Mushtaq Khokhar handed her a 10–month suspended sentence at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court in 2009.

Horne met IT worker Stuart Allen last year and agreed to marry him but he found out that she had flown to the US and illegally married policeman Fred Miller — her sixth husband — who she met online.

Marriage number six fell apart just days into the couple’s honeymoon in Ireland and Horne says she is still intending to marry Mr Allen who is standing by her.

Horne, from the West Midlands, who changed her name on marriage certificates to avoid detection, had married four men by the age of 23.

The former adult actress, who has bipolar disorder, wed soldier Paul Rigby in York in 1996, left him to marry banker Sean Cunningham in Leeds in 1999, and moved on to website designer Chris Barrett for a wedding in Leeds in 2000.

She was cautioned by police for two offences of bigamy in 2001.

A year later she married rail guard James Matthews in Ipswich and was given a six-month jail sentence before marrying Mr Baker.
